About Hearth & Bean

How it started

Hearth & Bean began as a Pinterest page about coffee corners and coffee recipes. People kept saving the same kinds of ideas: drinks they'd usually buy at a café, and small, cozy spots to make them at home. This site is where those ideas get room to grow into full recipes and guides.

What we believe

Start with what you have. Most great home coffee comes from a simple brewer, not an expensive machine.
Small spaces count. A tray or a single shelf can feel like your own café.
Honesty over hype. Every recipe shows whether we've tested it yet. Every gear note says who should skip it.

This is a small, independent project. Some of the gear links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. We say so on the page and next to each link, and explain it in our disclosure. In the future we may also sell our own digital guides, and we will label those clearly as ours.
